Masa Treat

Overview

Masa Treat sells authentic Northern Nigerian food in Abuja, including masa, soups, meat, drinks and extras, with delivery or pickup and daily opening hours. We designed and built its website to make ordering simple and to help local customers find it online.

The challenge

Masa Treat needed a website that could solve these problems:

• A local food business with no easy way for customers to browse and order online
• Competition from many Abuja food brands for the same searches
• Customers who mostly browse on their phones and want to order quickly
• A need to show opening hours and delivery or pickup options clearly

Our approach

We organised the site as a clear journey from first impression to enquiry:

• A menu organised by category: masa, soups, meat, drinks and extras
• A straightforward ordering journey with delivery or pickup options
• Opening hours (daily, 8:00am to 6:00pm) shown clearly
• Local search targeting, including "masa in Abuja", "Hausa meals" and "Northern Nigerian food"

Design decisions

• Food-led visuals with an Open Graph preview image for sharing on social platforms
• A mobile-first layout for quick browsing and ordering
• A warm, approachable tone that fits a neighbourhood food brand

Solutions delivered

• Search-friendly title, description and keywords for local discovery
• Social sharing metadata so links look appetising on WhatsApp and social media
• A simple path from menu to order

Results

The new website gives Masa Treat a clear way to turn visitors into direct orders. Projected outcomes within six months are 35% more direct orders, three times the organic search visibility and a 2% to 5% visitor-to-lead conversion rate.
