Waste 360 Nigeria
A platform-style website that explains Waste 360's plastic recovery system to pickers, brands and credit buyers, and converts them into partners.
- Website design
- development and content strategy for a circular economy platform
Overview
Waste 360 Environmental Services Ltd runs a traceable plastic recovery network in Nigeria, linking waste pickers, recyclers and brands through EPR compliance and plastic credits. We designed and built its website to explain a complex, new model clearly and to attract partners.
The challenge
Waste 360 Nigeria needed a website that could solve these problems:
- A new and technical concept (EPR, plastic credits, MRV and chain of custody) that most visitors have never heard of
- Six very different audiences, from waste collectors to FMCG brands and credit buyers
- The need to prove credibility and inclusivity, since the model depends on a network of over 1,000 waste pickers
- Turning interest into partnership conversations
Our approach
We organised the site as a clear journey from first impression to enquiry:
- Hero built around a simple promise, "Recover Plastic. Generate Credits. Build Circular Value", with live impact figures
- A "one platform, three benefits" section: Sell Plastics, Earn EPR Value, Generate Plastic Credits
- A four-step value chain (Collect, Verify, Recover, Generate Value) that makes the process easy to follow
- Audience cards for collectors, aggregators, recyclers, brands, credit buyers and development partners, so each visitor sees their own benefit
- A traceability section explaining audit-ready MRV and digital chain of custody
- A dedicated block on the picker network covering fair pricing, PPE and training
Design decisions
- Animated counters bring impact numbers to life
- Real field photography keeps the story human
- A partner logo strip shows the ecosystem of associations and organisations behind the platform
Solutions delivered
- Partnership CTAs on every key section, including Become A Partner and Discuss EPR Compliance
- Separate About, Services and Contact pages for deeper reading
- Search metadata and structure targeting EPR and plastic credit queries
Results
The new website gives Waste 360 Nigeria a clear way to turn visitors into partnership enquiries. Projected outcomes within six months are 50% more partnership enquiries, three times the organic search visibility and a 2% to 5% visitor-to-lead conversion rate.
"The site explains EPR and plastic credits in a way that brands and partners immediately understand. Conversations start much further along than before."
